Meet the RoadHouse Strangers

Roadhouse Strangers is a feel good, soul driving, fun-loving rock band from the Boston Metro-West area. In addition to playing some of the best rock and blues covers, their original songs get the audience out on the dance floor, singing along, and becoming part of the show. Roadhouse Strangers has opened for music legends such as Three Dog Night and Grand Funk Railroad and performed at venues like New Hampshire Speedway during NASCAR’s New England 300, Indian Ranch in Webster, MA, Hard Rock Cafe in Boston, and the famous Lucky Dog Music Hall in Worcester, MA.

Paul Douglas – Bass

Paul has a picture of himself at age 4 with a (real) guitar in hand. He plays Bass, Guitar, and some keyboards and has add any number of them around all his life.

Paul began writing songs at a very young age and honed his craft on stages in, then smoke filled, clubs and venues up and down the east coast. Paul is one of the principal songwriters in Roadhouse Strangers.

Paul met and befriended Johnny Winter and 3-Time Grammy winner Paul Nelson in the early 2000’s and Paul produced Roadhouse Strangers second EP “Never Feel That Way Again” which was shortened by both COVID closing the studio and later, Paul’s passing.

Paul plans to return to the studio and, with Cam, produce the second half of the second record, any second now.

Cam McLean – Guitar & Vocals

Cam McLean’s passion for writing music and performing began when he taught himself how to play the guitar in his early teens. He later honed his craft and mastered the ability to shred while attending the Berklee College of Music and performing at countless gigs in Boston.

Cam has showcased his guitar, singing and songwriting abilities as a session musician, and as a member of original bands and many cover bands.

Robert Brunsdon – Drums & Vocals

Bob grew up in a musical family, and started piano and chorus in elementary school. Like many young aspiring drummers back then, he watched Buddy Rich play the Tonight Show when he was just a kid, and started drumming in ’72. Bob was classically trained on percussion and mallet instruments, and has played in various orchestras, concert and rock bands ever since.

Bob hails from Detroit and was heavily influenced by the Motor City music scene: classic rock, blues, Motown and R&B in the late 60’s and 70’s. Bob’s played many venues over the years, from the stage at Carnegie Hall to the local brew pubs, and for the last 20, has been part of the Boston/Metrowest music scene. He loves to sing and lives to play!
